Manifestations exhibition, Bristol

Manifestations is an exhibition of interactive sound sculptures that I have been collaborating on in my spare time. This is the pilot show where we are demonstrating the first set of pieces to the public in the hope of gathering feedback and raising th eprofile of the project. On this blog I hope to post some more details of the processes that we went through to arrive at the works.

For more information, see the Facebook page.

Manifestations is a ten day exhibition of interactive sound sculptures by collaborators Matthew Roy Arnold, Daniel Cioccoloni and Brendan James Arnold.

Exhibiting in the crypt of one of Bristol's oldest churches, the works provide a focal point for meditation on our relationship with real and virtual spaces as well a serving as an example of how digital technology can be used to build on traditional sculptural practice. The pieces feature sounds and lighting which respond to the way a viewers approaches the works revealing new meanings in the physical forms.

The exhibition opens on 27th March between 12pm and 7pm and continues until the 5th April at the crypt of the Church of St John the Baptist, Nelson Street, Bristol.
